There are three categories for 2025.  All contestants must be biologically born women. 

MISS:  Entrants in this category must be between the ages of 18 and 21 at the time or registration. They must not have been married at any time, nor may they have given birth to or adoptedany children.  

MS:  Entrants in this category may or may not be married and may or may not have children  There is no age limitation for this category.

MRS:  Entrants in this category must be married and may or may not have children.  There is no age limitation for this category.

All three categories of entrants will compete in public speaking, evening wear, on stage interview and casual wear. Optional categories include:

Top Model:  Runway competition in which Contestant wears black t-shirt; blue jeans and heeled shoe. Our judges will be looking for poise, confidence, personality, a natural comfortable walk, and stage presence. 

Actress:  Contestants will have 90 seconds to perform a commercial, scene, or monologue of their choice. Judges will be looking for entertainment value, performance quality, and poise.  

Fitness:  Contestants will model fitness attire of their choice. Can be one or two pieces with shorts or legging/long pants. Midriff may be shown or covered. Walking pattern is also choice of contestant. Each contestant is evaluated on her demonstration of one exercise to the audience, stage-presence, and overall impression. 

Photogenic:  Judges will be looking for natural styling, complimentary grooming, ability to easily recognize contestant and overall photo quality and presentation. 

Media Influencer  Based upon best local or national media coverage, such as newspaper articles or television interviews, NOT social media.  This is based upon traditional media outlet coverage only.

Volunteer Service:  Contestants who choose to enter this optional will need to submit service hours for verification of award level. Contestant with the most hours of verifiable community service will be designated the winner.

All contestants in every category must be US Citizens.  This is a plus sized pageant and entrants must be size 12 and above.  All contestants agree to abide by the Code of Conduct by virtue of submitting their application for entry into the pageant.  Upon receipt of registration, you can expect a phone call with the reigning Ms Eloquence and Elegance US ofA 2024, as well as additional paperwork to be emailed to you within a few days.  Your crown and sash will also be mailed after registration and payment of at least the deposit. The sash is custom made so may arrive separately from your crown.

CODE OF CONDUCT

  • Contestants shall conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner, treating fellow contestants, organizers, staff, judges, and others with courtesy and respect and refrain from engaging in any behavior that may bring discredit or harm to the pageant or its reputation.
  • Contestants shall refrain from bullying behaviors, including those based on different backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs represented by the contestants, judges, organizers, and audience members and refrain from engaging in any discriminatory or prejudiced behavior.
  • Contestants shall exhibit good sportsmanship throughout the pageant, both on and off the stage, by displaying respect and support for their fellow contestants and refraining from negative or unsportsmanlike conduct, such as cheating, spreading rumors, or undermining the efforts of others.
  • Contestants shall uphold the highest standards of integrity and honesty in all aspects of the pageant, including during interviews, performances, and interactions with the public.
  • Contestants shall provide accurate and truthful information about themselves and their qualifications, avoiding any form of misrepresentation or deceit.
  • Contestants shall exercise responsible and respectful behavior maintaining a positive and constructive online presence on social media platforms and online forums, avoiding any actions or statements that may negatively impact the pageant, its participants, or its representatives.
  • Contestants shall seek clarification from the organizers if they have any questions regarding the rules or requirements of the pageant.
  • Contestants are expected to serve as positive role models, promoting goodwill and community engagement, as representatives of their fair or festival.
  • Disruptive behavior before, during, or after the pageant may be considered a violation of this Code of Conduct.
  • Any violation of this Code of Conduct may result in immediate disqualification, forfeiture of all prizes and awards won, and legal charges.
  • All issues related to this Contestant Code of Conduct and consequences for violation thereof shall be determined solely and exclusively by the Miss Eloquence & Elegance pageant director and/or KMP Entertainment COO or CEO. Contestant agrees to accept such determinations both as to herself and others.
